How Talkora uses your information

This policy explains how Talkora handles information in the Talkora mobile app, on talkora.cc, and through related support services.

Effective September 1, 2026

1. Scope and who can use Talkora

Talkora is an 18+ real-time voice AI character service. This policy applies to the Talkora app, talkora.cc, feedback and account-deletion forms, and support operations. It does not cover Apple, Google, OpenAI, or other services operating under their own privacy notices.

Talkora is not directed to children. Do not use the service if you are under 18.

2. Information we collect

We collect information you provide, information created while you use the service, and limited technical information needed to operate it.

  • Account information: a random number that identifies this installation, protected sign-in information, account status, account time zone, login times, and an optional verified email used for recovery.
  • Optional profile information: display name, birthday, region, and avatar.
  • Call information: selected official character, language, start and end times, call status, duration, minute usage, connection problems, errors, and a small amount of technical information needed to investigate problems.
  • Voice input: live microphone audio used to conduct the AI call. Talkora does not save a playable recording of the complete call.
  • Commerce information: minute-pack product, price, platform, store product and order identifiers, order or receipt information needed to confirm a purchase, minute balance, and minute history.
  • Support and safety information: feedback, inappropriate-AI-response reports, linked call context, contact email submitted on the website, problem-handling notes, and account-deletion requests.
  • Technical information: app version, platform, interface language, network and error context, IP address, user agent, and website language preference where needed for security and delivery.

3. Live voice and third-party AI

To provide a call, Talkora transmits live microphone audio, the chosen character profile, the selected language, necessary conversation context, and a hashed account safety identifier to OpenAI for real-time AI processing and abuse prevention. OpenAI acts as a service provider for this function. Before the first call, Talkora presents this disclosure and requires an affirmative consent action. Declining prevents the microphone request and the call.

Talkora does not use full call audio recordings for advertising and does not retain a playable recording of the complete call. We keep only a small amount of service information needed to investigate problems; it does not include conversation audio, transcripts, text content, or instructions. This information is normally deleted after 30 days.

4. How we use information

  • Create and secure accounts and keep you signed in.
  • Deliver real-time AI voice calls and keep character identity and language consistent.
  • Maintain minute balances, minute packs, purchase verification, and transaction records.
  • Prevent simultaneous calls, fraud, abuse, unsafe content, and technical failures.
  • Answer support requests, investigate inappropriate AI responses, and improve content safeguards.
  • Process account-deletion requests and meet legal, security, and dispute obligations.

5. When information is shared

We do not sell personal data and do not use it for third-party behavioral advertising.

  • OpenAI receives the data needed to generate and safeguard the real-time AI conversation.
  • Apple and Google process minute-pack purchases and refunds under their own policies. Talkora receives transaction and entitlement information needed to verify access.
  • Hosting, storage, security, and infrastructure providers process limited data on our instructions to operate Talkora.
  • Information may be disclosed when required by law, to protect users or the service, or in connection with a lawful business reorganization.

6. Retention

Account and profile data are generally kept while the account is active. Sign-in access may expire or be withdrawn. A small amount of information used to investigate service problems is normally kept for no more than 30 days. Call and minute-use history, purchase records, feedback, and safety reports are kept for as long as reasonably needed to operate, secure, and support the service.

When account deletion completes, associated personal data is deleted or de-identified unless a limited record must be retained for transaction accounting, fraud prevention, security, legal compliance, or dispute resolution. In-app confirmation starts deletion immediately. For verified website requests, we aim to complete ordinary requests within 30 days, subject to identity checks and lawful retention requirements.

7. Account and data deletion

Deleting the app does not delete your Talkora account. In the app, use Me → Account and profile → Delete account. Signed-in device accounts and accounts with a linked email can both be deleted without an email code.

After the final warning, confirming starts account deletion immediately; no manual review or waiting period applies to this in-app action. If completion cannot be confirmed, retry the same operation. On the website, the account-deletion form instead verifies a previously linked email with a one-time code and submits a request for review. The website request has a default 72-hour processing period and may require further identity or lawful-retention checks.

Talkora currently sells only non-renewing minute packs. Account deletion may remove unused minutes as permitted by law. Some order and minute records may remain without identifying you when needed for payment checks, fraud prevention, security, legal compliance, or disputes.

8. Your choices and rights

You can edit available profile fields, choose an interface language, deny microphone access, report inappropriate AI content, withdraw AI-processing permission under Me → Privacy and terms → AI call data consent, request access or deletion, and stop future use by closing the account. Denying microphone access or withdrawing AI-processing permission prevents new voice calls but does not block purchased minutes, policy pages, or support.

Depending on your location, you may have additional rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object, or receive a copy of personal data. Submit a request at talkora.cc/feedback. We may verify identity before acting.

9. Security and international processing

Talkora protects data with measures such as protected sign-in information, access controls, and encrypted connections. No system is perfectly secure.

Talkora and its service providers may process information in countries other than yours. Where required, we use appropriate contractual or legal safeguards for international processing.

10. Changes and contact

We may update this policy when the service, providers, or law changes. The effective date will be updated, and material changes will be presented as required.

For privacy questions or data-rights requests, use talkora.cc/feedback. Account deletion is a separate account action, not a feedback category.
